11.0 Collaboration SRND

While updates to SRND content were made throughout the document, the following are some notable highlights:

·         Gateways chapter: New sections on Expressway Business to Business Communications and Cisco Unified Border Elements

·         Collaboration Endpoints and Mobile Collaboration chapters: Coverage for Cisco Spark and the Cisco Collaboration Cloud.

·         Cisco Rich Media Conferencing chapter: Extensive updates made throughout including incorporation of applicable content from the previous Cisco Collaboration Services chapter.

·         Bandwidth Management chapter: New chapter replacing the previous Call Admission Control chapter.  In addition to the previous Call Admission Control content, this chapter has been updated extensively to cover QoS and other bandwidth management considerations.

·         Emergency Service chapter: Updated to include coverage for Unified CM native emergency call routing.

·         Collaboration Instant Messaging and Presence: Extensive updates made throughout including incorporation of some content from the previous Cisco Collaboration Clients chapter.

·         Cisco Collaboration Clients and Cisco Collaboration Services chapters: Eliminated with pertinent content moved to Collaboration Endpoints, Rich Media Conferencing, and Collaboration Instant Messaging and Presence chapters.

Remote Monitoring License Key TC 7.3.3 and CE8.0

Remote Monitoring

This feature was previously known as Web Snapshots and can no longer be enabled from system settings in TC7.3.3

A new option key that enables the Remote Monitoring feature has been introduced. This feature allows an administrator to monitor a room from the endpoint’s web interface by getting snapshots from the camera sources connected to the endpoint. The user interface screenshots feature also requires  this option key to be installed.

Remote monitoring is enabled once the option key has been added and the system has been rebooted. Once this feature is enabled, the only way to disable it is to remove the option key. This feature does not display warning messages or indicators on the local system that someone is monitoring the room, as it did in previous versions. The option key comes at an additional cost on 100 USD GPL, and can be ordered with the following PID numbers. Screen shut from CCW.

MX800 Dual 70″ whit Dual Camera option

New TC7.3 is out

New features:
• Bring SX80, MX700/800 up to parity of C-Series in terms of features for easy adaptation
• Web snapshots: Warn user when snapshots are being taken
• SX80: Dual presentation outside call
• Faster software upgrade from web
• SX20 new OSD for passive mode (when using Touch)
• SpeakerTrack 60: Snap to whiteboard.
• Historical log bundles will include (anonymized) call history by default.
Bug fixes

• Fix for the POODLE Vulnerability (CSCur23723)
• Touch 8 may drop the endpoint network pairing (CSCup89614)
• Need command to disable CDP (CSCub26258)
